DMWA tour the Ibstock Brick Factory

DMWA were delighted to take part in the RIBA’s local event and tour at Swanage’s Ibstock Brick Factory alongside local practices and members of the RIBA. The Swanage site is one of the last remaining handmade brickworks, producing 3 million handmade and stock bricks per year. It was a privilege to learn how traditional processes are still being used to craft these bespoke bricks which have contributed to over 100 years of architecture and construction.
