Cameron Hall
Christchurch, Dorset

Originally a mission hall built in the 1930’s, this decrepit shed on a small plot of land was bought by the client to turn into a small family home.

We needed to maximise space, create a modern feel but at the same time respect the neighbouring context.

We started playing with the idea of mirroring the existing in height and proportion – entering the space between the division of old and new.

Materials reflected the shift between historic and contemporary.
