Merley Ways
Wimborne, Dorset

The existing bungalow was cold, old and in need of modernisation. The client approached us to extend and convert at ground floor and create much needed bedroom space at first floor.

The concept was for the mass of the front roof gables to be articulated to relate and synchronise to the street scene when viewed from approach. The eaves and ridge lines were positioned to relate with neighbouring properties.

To the rear, the living spaces and master bedroom suite benefit from woodland views, to the front, the bedrooms have far-reaching views across the Stour Valley.
