Our scheme, in principle, seeks to retain as much of the existing centuries old brickwork walls and sensitively add more development to provide more meaningful accommodation. The datum of the North wall will be retained with our new dwellings perching lightly to the South side. At ground floor, south facing space will provide courtyard amenity. The roof form over the first floors will reflect the disorderly and un-uniform rhythm that is currently present; the new hit-and-miss roofs, providing more light into the North courtyard.
A pre-application enquiry has been submitted to Wiltshire Council to establish a principle of development and initiate engagement with the Conservation Officer.
