Located in Southbourne, Dorset, this slim parcel of land snugly hugging a railway embankment, was reimagined from its prior approval for apartments to a duo of three-bedroom townhouses — a reinterpretation of the traditional townhouse typology embodying modern aesthetics and efficiency.
The brownfield site, adjacent to a raised bank and railway line, posed inherent limitations that informed our architectural approach. We negotiated these challenges, resulting in a development that responded to market demands for small family homes in this popular location.
