We’re delighted to share some summer photos of our extension and remodelling project in Wimborne, Dorset from 2015.
Our clients purchased the property and approached us to extend and reconfigure to achieve a more open plan layout and create a larger kitchen/dining space. Our proposal sought to introduce a single vernacular form, which accommodates a double garage, ancillary accommodation, and open plan kitchen and living space.
The new extension is set back form from the existing building line, with a lightweight link articulating the junction between new and old. A simple framed structure addresses the garden and relates to an existing logia.
The project was completed in 2017 and DMW Architects provided a full service from concept to completion.
