We have achieved planning consent at appeal for two new dwellings in Dorset, a great result for our client and the collaborative team who have persisted with the project.
The site is a highly constrained location; it is located outside of the settlement boundary, in the Green Belt, within National Landscape (formerly an AONB), in a Conservation Area and adjacent to Listed Building! There was a lot to contend with, in order to get the right result.
This consent has followed a previous refusal, it was achieved through a combination of Planning Consultant James Cain's tenacity and our design and representation skills. The new design was configured to read as a converted barn set within a courtyard, creating two generous three-bedroom barn style dwellings in a sought after location in rural Dorset.
