We have secured planning consent for 28 flats, within Bournemouth Conservation Area on West Cliff Road.
Our client had previously been refused planning for a design or 27 flats, so we are delighted to have gained planning permission for them with another unit. We approached the design by fully modelling the site and context, as the previous scheme had been refused on the design and scale this was a key area to rectify. Our design has a smaller footprint than the previous, we significantly reduced the massing at the rear and were able to increase the front elevation.
The ability to design the scheme in 3D, combined with our heritage and conservation expertise, has enabled us to gain support of the planning and conservation office for our client.
