We were delighted to sponsor and exhibit at the Queen Elizabeth’s School Careers & Apprentice Fair on Wednesday; it was a really successful evening and great to see so many people in attendance.
This event gave us a perfect opportunity to describe what a job in architecture and the built environment really entails, and how there are many different ways into the profession. As part of our presentation, we used a VR headset, which allowed visitors to explore various designs in a fully virtual world.
As a company we really understand the value of apprentice schemes. Noah Harper joined us via this route and is now an invaluable member of the team. He started at just 16, completed his HNC at Weymouth College and is now studying to be an Architect at Portsmouth University whilst working 4 days a week.
We currently have two apprentice positions open for architecture and architectural technology. Please get in touch for more information at careers@dmwa.co.uk
